Hi Pirates/Kurtofsky shippers!!!

Currently, we are about to embark on a very prolonged, 7 week hiatus of Glee, which means it’s time for us to fill the void with our own creativity! (ooh I think that rhymed…)

It was suggested a while back that there needs to be a ‘Things Kurtofsky Pirates Say’ video and it was also suggested that it would be only fitting if we all pitched in to create something fantastic and collaborative. In order for that to happen, however, we needed somebody to organize everything and everyone and, finally, Annie (princessunicorn90) and Meghan (daveloveskurt) have gotten their shit together and are ready to help make this happen.

What is it? That’s sort of hard to explain without watching an actual “Shit ___ Says” video. If you don’t understand, look up one on youtube and you’ll quickly get the gist.

How will this work? Here’s what we’re thinking. Any and everyone who is interested, reblog this post with your name and what ‘thing’ you’d like act out in the video (whether it’s crying over a scene and eating ice cream or cuddling with a Dave plushie, etc). This is first come, first serve so if someone else thinks of the same idea you have but reblogged the post first, we’ll contact you to try to come up with something different so that we don’t have duplicate scenes. The sign up will extend through Sunday, March 11th, so that gives everyone about two weeks to sign up (there will be continuous reminders of this deadline) with their name and scene idea. From that deadline, only the videos of the people who signed up will be used (and we will give you all deadlines/emails for where/when those need to be made and sent, when the time comes).

If you’re interested in helping us out with this in any way, message this account to let us know. We’ve already talked with a few people about video editing- if that’s still an interest of yours, remind us. Because there are a few candidates for editor, we may need to compare editing work to see who will create the most impressive result, so please be prepared to show us something you’ve done (a fanvid or two will suffice <3).
